Beach Environmental/Sanitary Survey
Health Canada recommends conducting an on-site Environmental Health and Safety Survey in advance of the bathing season at each beach. Edge-Water DNA can provide microbial source tracking analyses to supplement this inspection to ensure no new fecal pollution source is impacting a beach from changing bird populations or land use practices, or aging/damaged wastewater infrastructure near the beach.
